Interested in the 8-week mindfulness course?

What is it?

The group 8-week mindfulness course follows the Mindfulness Now programme. Mindfulness Now is a programme based on the same principles as Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). It follows a structured and evidence-based approach and is intended to help people cope more effectively with a whole range of issues including stress, depression, anxiety, chronic pain and sleep issues.

    • Mindfulness of breath

    • Tuning into the body

    • Practising non-judgment

    • Mindful movement

    • Mindfulness of sound

    • Noticing negative, positive and automatic thoughts

    • Exploring difficulty

    • Accepting silent space

    • Loving kindness and building compassion

    • A detailed individual assessment before starting the course

    • 8x 90-minute group sessions (weekly)

    • Individual, personalised audio recordings for you to practise with outside of class

    • A 1-to-1 check-in session halfway through the course

    • Homework and self-help exercises and tools

    • Ongoing open-ended support after course completion

  • This is an online course taking place on zoom from the comfort of your own home.

  • The programme costs £400 per person, though I am always happy to discuss reduced fees for those who might need it.
